Loulé hosts dance show “Face T(w)o”

In total, the project involves 104 young people

Loulé will host, on the 24th of May, from 22pm, the dance show “Face T(w)o”, as part of the European project PPP – People Power Partnership, at Largo do Monumento Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco.

“Face T(w)o” combines the work and experience of young people from several countries, including Portugal, which has two cities in its founding members, Loulé and Lisbon.

This will be “a multimedia performance with on-stage props and projections that take the viewer on a unique sensorial journey into the perception of reality. The props – mirrors – are intended to force reflection on the different themes that occupy our reality, such as self-knowledge, the fragmentation of identity, vanity, lust, fear, among others».

The show has free entry and involves the involvement of 32 young Portuguese dancers between the ages of 18 and 25, in a large-scale European production that brings together on stage performers from 13 European cities in various countries such as Lithuania, Denmark, Spain and Portugal, among others.

In total, the project involves 104 young people who created 13 different performances for each of the partners and a central performance, “Face T(w)o”, which circulates between them all and which will be on international tour until the end of 2024.

“Face T(w)o” is an integral part of the People Power Partnership (PPP) artistic co-creation project, implemented and coordinated by Aktionstheater PAN.OPTIKUM, in Freiburg, Germany. The project is funded by the Creative Europe Program and 14 European partners, bringing together a total of 11 countries.
