The artistic mediation project promoted by LAMA is called “ESTOJO”, which is looking for young people who want to be part of a theater group.

The objective is to promote “the involvement and empowerment of young people, using the performing arts as a means”, giving them “access and the possibility of acquiring tools that can contribute to the performance of an active and productive role within their community and of society in general», emphasizes the company LAMA Teatro.

The ESTOJO initiative is based on the creation of a theater group made up of young people, aged between 13 and 18, where artistic training will be provided, based on the different disciplines of theater: orality, movement, creativity, improvisation, imagination, listening, among others.

The final result of “ESTOJO” will be presented at MOCHILA – International Theater Festival for Children and Young People 2024.

Anyone who wants to participate can register until March 17th, sending their name, date of birth, telephone number and email to [email protected].

The project runs between March 18th and May 17th and public presentations are scheduled for May 18th and 19th, at 11 am.

Rehearsals take place at LAMA Black Box – Faro, on Tuesdays and Fridays, between 19:00 pm and 20:45 pm.

Participation is free.

The project is coordinated by João de Brito (LAMA Teatro), sub-coordinated by Telma Saião, organized by LAMA Teatro and institutional support from the City Council of Faro.
