Tourism and agriculture mark Luís Montenegro's third day in the Algarve

Luís Montenegro passed through Albufeira, Silves, Lagoa and Loulé

The third day of the PSD program “Sentir Portugal in the Algarve”, which brought Luís Montenegro to the region, was marked by tourism and agriculture.

The day began in the municipality of Albufeira, where Luís Montenegro met with businesspeople and representatives of associations in the tourism sector.

«Despite the importance of this activity for the Algarve region and for the country, tourist agents complain about the lack of support from the central government and highlight the various problems such as the lack of housing and the high tax burden», says PSD Algarve in note.

Then, in Silves, Luís Montenegro met with farmers from the region who, in turn, “lamented the lack of support from the Socialist Government for this activity, whose difficulties are increased by the severe drought that is being felt”.

In Lagoa, the PSD leader was with the citizens' movement “Save the White Alagoas”, whose second petition already has more than eight thousand signatures.

The day ended in Loulé, where the president of the PSD visited the wine and wine tourism operation “Quinta da Tôr”.
