The inaugural session will take place at the Rectory Building of the University of Lisbon, on Friday, November 3rd. Conferences will follow at the Porto Polytechnic Institute, the University of Algarve, the University of Évora, and the University of Coimbra.

This cycle is presented as «an important moment for the Ministry of Internal Affairs to share and debate with local authorities, humanitarian associations and volunteer fire departments and the academic community, in particular with students and their academic associations, the priorities in these areas fundamental to safety and well-being of communities», explains MAI.

The conferences will be opened by the Minister of Internal Administration José Luís Carneiro, and will include three simultaneous work sessions.
