Argument between two men on Armona Island ends with stabbings

The men, aged 20 and 48, had to be transported to hospital

Two men, aged 20 and 48, who were in a house on Armona Island, were involved yesterday in a dispute that ended with stabbings and had to be transported to the hospital.

The Olhão Maritime Police and crew from the Lifeguard Station were called to intervene in this incident for which the alert was given at 10:50 am this Saturday, October 21st.

After the intervention, the men were taken by two National Maritime Authority vessels to Olhão, from where they were then transported by two ambulances to the hospital.

According to the maritime authority, the case was handed over to the Judicial Police of Faro, who will inspect the crime scene.

The local command of the Olhão Maritime Police took care of the incident.
