Portimonense SC beat CRD Santaluziense, 13-2, and lifted the Supertaça do Algarve Futsal Iniciados, played this Sunday, September 24th, at the Pavilhão Municipal da Penha, in Faro.
Portimonense SC's goals were scored by Tiago Fernandes (2), Guilherme Sancho (2), Renata Cruz, Gabriel Anes, Tiago Costa (2), Miguel Santos (2), Afonso Rochate and André Silva. Miguel Santos and Martim Mateus were the scorers of CRD Santaluziense's goals.
Throughout the day, the Penha Municipal Pavilion, in Faro, hosted two more matches of the Algarve Training Supercups. The games are free to enter and have the support of the Municipal Council of Faro.
Vitor Santos, delegate from CRD Santaluziense, congratulated the AFA for the organization and the presence of our fans.
«Regarding the result, it's the beginning of the season, little time to work and a lot of new faces. Portimonense was a fair winner, they won well. We will continue to work to come back stronger,” he said.
Miguel Santos, CRD Santaluziense captain, says that «it was a super difficult game between two good teams and now we have to lift our heads and keep working».
