Silves Town Hall hosts exhibition “For an environment of peace”

Promoted by the Portuguese Council for Peace and Cooperation (CPPC), in partnership with the Peace and Art Society and the Library of the University of Algarve

From today until 30 June, the Silves Town Hall building will host the exhibition “For an environment of peace”, within the scope of the Protocol signed between the Municipality and the Portuguese Council for Peace and Cooperation.

The exhibition will be open between 9:00 am and 17:00 pm.

The Portuguese Council for Peace and Cooperation (CPPC), in partnership with the Peace and Art Society and the Library of the University of Algarve, have promoted the tour of the exhibition “For an environment of peace”, through several Municipalities in the Algarve, including the Rectory of the University of Algarve, on the Campus of Gambelas.

The initiative is part of a cycle of exhibitions previously held, namely between 2018 and 2021, the CPPC organized several exhibitions in the Algarve, entitled “Artists for Peace” and “For Peace, against nuclear weapons”, where images were presented that sought to raise awareness of the dangers of nuclear weapons.
