The victim was "in a difficult to reach place"

A 38-year-old woman, of American nationality, was rescued this afternoon by the crew of the Lifeguard Station in Sagres, after having fallen, while "allegedly" climbing with a group of friends, between Praia do Beliche and Ponta do Cabo de São Vicente, on the coast of the municipality of Vila do Bispo.

Following an alert received around 16 pm, via the Lisbon Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC Lisboa), crew members from the Sagres Lifeguard Station and members of the Local Command of the Lagos Maritime Police.

Upon arrival at the scene, the crew of the Lifeguard Station found that the victim was "in a difficult to reach place".
