“Fado ao Piano” and DJ China will combine their notes with those of the wines from Quinta do Canhoto, in Ferreiras, in the first edition of “Notes from the Wineries”, an initiative of the Albufeira Chamber, which will take place on the 19th of May, Friday at 20:00.
With this new event, the municipality wants to "promote and boost wine tourism in the municipality" and provide "many experiences for true wine connoisseurs, as well as musical moments that lead the event in different directions", according to the Albufeira Council.
In addition to the opportunity to experience «a veritable puzzle of wines selected for their aromatic qualities, fruity flavors and original and differentiated grape varieties», the program includes «two musical moments that favor the exploration of wine flavors».
At 21 pm, they perform “Fado ao Piano”, an intimate project that brings together fado singer Leonor Duarte and pianist Daniel Delaunay, «in a performance that links the essence and roots of fado with romantic and jazz influences».
At 22:30, DJ China «presents a set which allows all participants to socialize around wine».
Tickets are now on sale online and cost 12 euros per person.
The second edition of “Notas na Adega” is scheduled for June 17, at 20 pm, at Quinta do Cantor, in the parish of Guia, in Albufeira, with a performance by Elis & Eles and “netwining” with DJ Henrique Pontes.
