Carlos Campaniço participates in a session at Silves Secondary School

The initiative takes place within the framework of the celebrations of the Portuguese Author's Day

Writer Carlos Campaniço will participate in a session this Monday, May 22nd, at 10:20 am, at Escola Secundária de Silves. 

The initiative takes place within the framework of the Portuguese Author's Day celebrations.

Carlos Campaniço was born in the village of Safara, municipality of Moura, in 1973.

He lived in his native village until he enrolled in the Portuguese Studies – Modern Languages ​​and Literature course at the University of Algarve.

He also has a master's degree in Arab and Islamic Cultures and the Mediterranean, from the same University.

Professionally, he is an artistic programmer in the Municipality of Olhão, in the Algarve.

He publishes regularly since 2007, dedicating himself to denunciation novels, in which he explores the life of rural communities in the last century, their collective imagination, the class struggle, the suffering of women and children, which is always the worst in any catastrophe, or the central role of women in these societies, despite the conservative dominance of men and, above all, of an agrarian and conservative elite.
