Hermitage of Santo António do Alto closes the Route of the Chapels of Faro

The presentation of this emblematic chapel will be in charge of the historian Daniel Santana

A visit to the Hermitage of Santo António do Alto, with live music and poetry, closes on Sunday, March 26th, at 17:00, the Rota das Capelas de Faro, started in December.

The presentation of this emblematic chapel will be in charge of the historian Daniel Santana, who will frame the public in its historical and artistic context.

The cultural moments will be in charge of the musician Gonçalo Pescada, interspersing moments of poetry spoken by the actors António Gambóias and Ana Oliveira.

The Capelas Route trip, in Faro, produced by Associação Cultural Música XXI, included a tour of three other temples of recognized heritage interest; the churches of Misericórdia, Santo António dos Capuchos and S. Sebastião.

This project has the support of the Regional Directorate for Culture of the Algarve, the Municipality of Faro, of the Parish of S. Pedro and of the Misericórdia de Faro.
