The 3rd stage of the South surf circuit, organized by the Iate Clube Marina de Portimão and Playsurf surf school, took place on the 4th and 5th of March, in Praia da Rocha, and had 81 entries divided into the six categories in the competition .
On the first day, the sea presented itself with waves of one meter. In the second, it started with wind in the early morning, but the waves were always present, which provided «an excellent surfing championship», says the Municipality of Portimão.
The awards were offered by Secret Spot surf shop and Vila Surf Marina de Portimão, with the support of the Portuguese Surfing Federation, Portimão City Council, Portimão Parish Council, Ferox surfboards and Prainha Group.
The last stage will be on the weekend of April 1st and 2nd, in Arrifana, organized by the Surf Club of Aljezur.
