“The Importance of Bees as the main pollinator of crops and essential in the conservation of biodiversity”. This is the theme of the XIII Regional Beekeeping Meeting in the Algarve, which will take place next Tuesday, February 28, in the auditorium of the Regional Directorate for Agriculture and Fisheries (DRAP) in the Algarve.
The initiative will be organized by “Melgarbe”.
The event has the participation of Pedro Valadas Monteiro, regional director of DRAP Algarve, together with Manuel Francisco Dias, president of Associação Melgarbe (Association of Beekeepers of the Sotavento Algarvio), Cristina Ferradeira, director of Food and Veterinary Services of the Algarve Region , and João Casaca, from the Board of FNAP.
