According to the authorities, it all started “following an aerial monitoring carried out by an Air Force aircraft” that located “seven suspicious high-speed craft”.

After a chase, it was possible to “intercept two high-speed boats, with dozens of fuel drums on board, which were seized”.

After the approach, three men, aged between 40 and 60, were arrested "on strong suspicion" of drug trafficking.

During this action, nine bales were also collected from the water, with a total of around 315 kilos of hashish, which will later be handed over to the Judiciary Police.

The seized vessels were driven ashore, with the support of a Maritime Police vessel and a Navy speedboat.
