Magic, theatre, music and dance enliven Albufeira Municipal Auditorium in February

Initial show has a solidarity nature, in favor of APEXA

The Municipal Auditorium of Albufeira presents a program with magic, theatre, music and dance, for the whole family, throughout the month of February.

“Mentalistas” is the name of the moment that opens the doors of the Municipal Auditorium. Alex Darcy and David Sousa embrace a new project and present this “unprecedented show in Portugal”, suggesting phenomena such as telepathy and clairvoyance, on February 4th at 21 pm.

The masters of illusion work in an initiative of a solidarity nature that aims to support the community of people with disabilities in the municipality of Albufeira, through APEXA – Associação de Apoio à Pessoa Excecional do Algarve.

Tickets cost ten euros and can be purchased at the association's headquarters, from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 am to 18:00 pm. For more information, contact via email: [email protected].

On the 12th, the children's musical “A Quinta do Ó” premieres. The show takes the stage of the Municipal Auditorium of Albufeira with the mission of reinforcing the importance of some themes such as sustainability, respect, mutual help and team spirit and healthy eating.

Families in the municipality will be able to attend the educational project created by Óscar Lopes, at 16 pm, for 00 euros. Tickets are on sale at ticketline.sapo.pt, at Galeria Municipal João Bailote, from 12,50:9 am to 30:12 pm and from 30:13 pm to 30:17 pm, on weekdays, and, on the day of the show, at the Municipal Auditorium ticket office, until 00:15 pm.

The month's program ends on Friday, February 17th, with the great festival of Arab music and oriental dance. The XXIII Festival Al-Mutamid, with the group Al Maram, starts at 21:30, and offers viewers unforgettable moments of visual and sound beauty.

In addition to the collaboration of an oriental dancer, the musical project formed by a new generation of artists presents traditional musical themes adapted to contemporaneity, interpretive sensitivity and original arrangements.

The ticket costs five euros and can be purchased, from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 13:30 pm to 17:00 pm, at the João Bailote Municipal Gallery and, on the day of the show, at the Municipal Auditorium ticket office, until 15:15 pm.
