Triathletes from Loulé manage to qualify for the world championship

At Ironman Cascais

Two triathletes from Loulé managed to qualify for the world championship last Saturday, at Ironman Cascais. 

The athletes competed in two triathlon events, one in the halfironman distance, which consists of completing 1900 meters of swimming, 90 kilometers of cycling, and 21,1 of running, and another in the ironman distance, consisting of 3800 meters of swimming, 180 kilometers of cycling, and 42,2 running.

The Triathlon section of Louletano Desportos Clube was present in both events, highlighting the results obtained by the female triathletes Jana Advani, in the halfironman, achieving qualification for next year's world championship, in Finland, and David Caldeirão, who competed in the Ironman event, qualifying for the 2023 World Long Distance Championship in Hawaii.
