Athletes from the municipality of Loulé and their clubs will be distinguished on the 1st of December at the Professor Joaquim Vairinhos Municipal Pavilion, starting at 18:00.
The event aims to recognize athletes and teams that, over the 2020, 2021 and 2022 calendar years (2019/2020, 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 seasons), stood out for their sporting results at regional, national and international levels, taking the name of Loulé to other national and international points.
In a note sent to the newsrooms, the Loulé City Council recalls that “during the 2019 Sports Gala, the Municipality honored the athletes, teams and clubs in the municipality that, in the 2018 and 2019 calendar years, distinguished themselves by their sporting results : 159 national and 39 international titles, from 32 clubs, as well as the 271 regional champions of 27 sports».
For this year, the municipality has the presence of a large number of athletes and clubs on this night of consecration.
This Gala is one of the initiatives that integrate the “Commitment to Sport” that the Municipality of Loulé has carried out over the last few years, with the aim of promoting sport in all its aspects, especially the practice of informal sport in within the Loulé community.
