The presentation of the new Branding of Marca Ferragudo and the signing of the protocol for the delegation of powers of the Mortuary of Ferragudo are the two highlights of the celebrations for the elevation of Ferragudo to town, which will take place on the 1st of November, at the Casa do Real Compromisso Marítimo.
The commemorations also include a tribute to the deceased combatants, by the League of Combatants, next to the existing memorial in the Ferragudo cemetery, and a session of the Parish Assembly.
The festivities end at 17:00, with a sunset with a dj, at Largo Rainha Dona Leonor.
Ferragudo was elevated to the category of village on the 1st of November 1999, so its 23rd anniversary is being celebrated.
