Teachers from Pinheiro and Rosa participate in training aimed at promoting inclusion in schools

Activity took place in Spain

Professors André Pereira Rodrigues and Sofia Aurora, from the Pinheiro e Rosa Secondary School (Faro), participated, from 21 to 23 September, in a training program for the “Eramsus” project, which helps and promotes the inclusion of students.

In this activity, which took place in Spain, a set of tools were presented and tested that aim to contribute to schools and classrooms free from discrimination.

This action is part of the project “Euriversity – European Action Against Discrimination: Educational Inclusion from the Perspective of Equality and Emotional-Sexual Diversity”, funded by the ERASMUS+ program.

The objective is to work on a comprehensive response that allows promoting an effective inclusion of students in primary and secondary education, by increasing levels of awareness on the subject and reducing and reducing discrimination and conflict based on gender or sexual orientation.

For Francisco Soares, director of the Pinheiro e Rosa School Group, participating in this training was “another step we took to meet the motto of our group: a humanist school with excellent results”.
