FC Ferreiras won this Sunday, September 5, the Algarve Supercup, in football, after beating Esperança de Lagos 0-2, in a game played at the Bela Vista Municipal Stadium, in Parchal (Lagoa).
Ferreiras took the lead, thanks to an own goal, in the 19th minute.
In the second half, João Barbosa extended the advantage of the team from the municipality of Albufeira.
This Supercup was still related to the 2019/2020 season.
The game was attended by Custódio Moreno, regional director of the Portuguese Institute for Sports and Youth, Luís Encarnação, mayor of Lagoa, José Carlos Rolo and Cristiano Cabrita, president and vice-president of the Chamber of Albufeira, respectively, and Alves Caetano and Albertino Galvão, president of the General Assembly and vice-president of the Board of Directors of the Algarve Football Association.
