2-2 was the result of the game that put Farense and SC Covilhã face to face this Sunday, September 4, at São Luís Stadium, counting for the II League.

The Algarve team, playing at home, started the match better, but in the 21st minute Miguel Bandarra scored in his own goal, putting the opponent in advantage. However, six minutes later, Pedro Henrique equalized the result, which ended up giving hope to the Faro.

In the 37th minute, Agustín Mársico, from Covilhã, threatened to raise the score, but the shot went close to the post.

The game went on smoothly until Marco Matias fell in the mountain area and asked for a penalty for allegedly overthrowing Adams. The referee ordered the game to continue, but the protests led to the expulsion of the player from Faro, in the 42nd minute, with a yellow card, followed by a red card.

With one less on the field in the second half, Farense conceded another goal, in the 78th minute, this time scored by Gilberto Silva. But at 85, Lucão tied the match again.

The match ended with the result of 2-2. In the five games, the Algarve team has three draws and two wins.

With this result, Farense now has nine points, remaining in third position.
