The Lagos Book Fair is back at Praça do Infante, between the 5th and 15th of August, from 19pm to midnight, with lots of books and activities for the whole family.
The “Story Time” (from 7 to 15), the contest “My story, your illustration” (from 7 to 15), the sessions of “Modern board games” (from 5 to 15) and the game “ Kushi Express” on the 8th are some examples.
The 8th will also be marked by the presentation of the book “The adventures of the Super Burro – A book to show what we are capable of”, the result of the Pedir a Pata Project – Sessions of Asinotherapy and a collaboration between the Dar a Mão CASLAS Community Center, in Chinicato, and Quinta do Barco Cheio, in Sargaçal, which also has the support of the municipality and parish council of S. Gonçalo.
Also on that day, there will be a workshop with Joana Jacó.
The event will also feature the “Poetry Recital in Honor of José Saramago”, by Eduardo Ramos (music) and Jorge Soares (declamation), with the concert “#Páginas Sustenidas, Opus 1”, with Vasco Ramalho and Carlos Norton and the second session of “Encontros com o Tango”, curated by Eduarda Coutinho and with the participation of fado singer Ana Marques and tangueiro and professor Fábio Duarte.
The Fair will also feature the presence of other events taking place in Praça do Infante, such as the Street Animation (JF S. Gonçalo) by Eurico & Cristina (11 August) and the Lagos World Music Fest (5-14 August). August).
