Almancil will have two busts of Simón Bolívar, Venezuelan, and José de San Martín, Argentine, two outstanding figures in the history of South America, inaugurated this Tuesday, August 2, in Jardim das Comunidades, as part of the “Meeting of summer”.
This initiative takes place at 21:00 pm, and will be attended by representatives of the Argentine and Venezuelan communities, as well as the secretary general of the Casa da América Latina Manuela Júdice.
The ceremony will be followed by the performance of Rancho Argentino of the Portuguese Association Comodoro Rivadavia and the Danzas Venezolanas Araguaney Group.
«This will certainly be a moment of fraternization between the two communities that have a strong presence in this parish in the municipality of Loulé», says the Câmara de Loulé.
