The visit “Tavira, Das origins à presenta”, under the guidance of the art historian Marco Sousa Santos, takes place on 25 June in the area surrounding the current Praça da República, in Tavira.
This activity, free of charge, but with a maximum number of 30 people, constitutes, according to the Municipality of Tavira, «the ideal pretext to discover the memory of some of the spaces, buildings and structures that tell the history of the city, from the earliest moments of archaeologically documented human occupation (from the XNUMXth century BC) to the present day».
