SC Farense's Senior Men's basketball team became National Vice-Champion of the Second Division last Sunday, May 29, after having lost against Clube Desportivo da Póvoa S23 by 67-62.
This was the third presence of the senior men's team in national finals, having been previously in the 1958/1959 season with Vasco da Gama do Porto and in the 1994/1995 season with Académica de Coimbra.
«The team guaranteed the objective of the promotion of the division, so in the next season 2022/2023, it will compete in the National Championship of the First Division», emphasizes SC Farense in a statement.
