CCDR Algarve returns to head the Human Resources division

Place has been vacant since 2009

The Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR) of the Algarve Region will once again, as of 1 July, head the Human Resources Division (DRH), a position that had been vacant since 2009.

The position will be held by Inês Pereira, a superior technician at CCDR who was, until now, the coordinator of the Centro Qualifica do Algarve, the Sul Informação with the entity.

«Considering the mission, attributions and type of internal organization of the CCDRs, the specific needs of CCDR Algarve and the attributions and powers entrusted to the DRH, as well as the entry into force of the State Budget for 2022, the Presidency of CCDR Algarve considered It is strategic to fill the position in the context of the internal reorganization of services, to better meet the challenges of the Algarve Region and the mission of coordinating and articulating services in the Region», emphasizes CCDR in a press release.

The Human Resources Division is responsible, in accordance with Order no. 10934/2018, of 23 November, to inventory the training needs of the services and propose training actions; preparing the social balance; ensure actions relating to the administration and mobility of staff; carry out all preparatory acts relating to recruitment, selection of personnel and appointment, promotion and termination of duties; study, promote and coordinate actions related to the rationalization, standardization and simplification of administrative procedures and circuits; ensure the management and administration of personnel; promote, in conjunction with the services, the correct allocation of human resources; ensure the logistical and administrative support of the services; and prepare the procedures for the assignment of service ratings.

In addition, since January 2022, CCDR Algarve has hosted the Qualifica AP | CCDR Algarve that will make more flexible, at the territorial level, the deconcentrated responses that can meet the needs of workers in public functions and "provide them with qualification, contemplating the possibility of deepening the skills developed in the context of Public Administration, focusing on recognition, validation and certification of skills», the note also mentions.
