The exhibition “We are not Artists”, by young students from the Drª Laura Ayres School Group (Quarteira), will be on view from the 5th to the 21st of July, at the Mar Shopping mall, in Loulé.
The show will have 50 pieces by young people from the PIEF (Integrated Education and Training Program) classes, by young people from the CAA (Learning Support Center) and by young people from the Professional Psychosocial Support Technician and Educational Action Technician courses.
«The project has an ecological initiative that aims to combine the spirit of recycling with artistic transformation, aiming to give a second useful life to objects, transforming them into a piece of art or simply turning them into a mere decorative object», explains the Laura Ayres School Group.
The authors of two of the pieces were inspired by Dino d'Santiago, a singer who also attended the Agrupamento de Escolas Dra. Laura Ayres in Quarteira.
The exhibition will be on display in front of the Mango store.
