Algarve had 4852 cases of Covid-19 in a week

There are 10.201 active cases

The Algarve registered 4852 cases of Covid-19 in a week, according to the weekly report of the Civil Protection Commission of the Algarve Region, released this Friday, June 24th. 

Compared to last week, active cases increased from 9.894 to 10.201.

The data were counted until midnight yesterday, June 24, and also reveal that there were nine more deaths in a week, which made the cumulative total since the beginning of the pandemic to be 00.

In one week there are also 4536 recovered.

As for hospitals, there are 44 people hospitalized, two in the Intensive Care Unit and one ventilated.

According to the report sent to the newsroom, the Municipal Vaccination Centers in Albufeira continue to operate, Faro/Penha, Lagoa, Lagos, Loulé, Olhão, Portimão, Silves and Tavira.

In the remaining municipalities (Alcoutim, Aljezur, Castro Marim, Monchique, São Brás de Alportel, Vila do Bispo and Vila Real de Santo António), vaccines are given at Health Centers.
