A 21-year-old was injured this afternoon in São Brás de Alportel, after being attacked, at the entrance of his building, by a group of men, who reportedly fired several shots, but did not hit the victim.
According to CNN Portugal, the situation may have originated in a settling of accounts. The channel said that "shots" were heard by people and that a shotgun cartridge was found at the scene.
The suspects fled.
GNR source, contacted by Sul Informação, despite not confirming the shooting, said that there was a “situation of offenses to the physical integrity of a young man, who was injured, at the entrance of a building”, around 15:40 pm.
According to the same source, there are indications that “the injuries were caused by physical force”.
At the site, "investigations are ongoing" that also involve the Judiciary Police.
