The Algarunners team was the winner for men's teams in the long trail (42km), of the MIUT – Madeira Island Ultra Trail, the most famous race on trails in Portugal, which took place on Saturday, April 23rd.
According to Algarunners, a team that this year is supported by the Municipality of Loulé and the Parish Council of São Clemente, this year's MIUT "had the presence of many of the best trail athletes at national and international level".
So far, in this sporting season, Algarunners «has won 3 of the 4 events in which it scored for teams on the Portuguese Trail Running Association – ATRP circuit, so we are particularly pleased to combine the joy of participation that characterizes us with the sporting and competitive side'.
