Messines and São Marcos da Serra already have coworking spaces for teleworking in the countryside

São Bartolomeu de Messines and São Marcos da Serra already have teleworking spaces in a coworking system, provided by the Municipality of Silves.

These coworking spaces are part of the national network of spaces in the interior territories, based on a Cooperation Agreement, signed with the Intermunicipal Community of Algarve, CCDR Algarve and the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training.

This initiative by the municipality aims to "contribute to the dynamism of its territory, in particular that of the interior, through its effect of attracting and eventually fixing people, configuring itself as a factor of stimulus to the local economy, sharing of experiences and ideas, promoting of new technologies and reduction of geographical asymmetries in terms of professional offers», highlights the Câmara de Silves.

The work rooms are “duly equipped with furniture, computer equipment and wi-fi internet access”, adds the municipality.
