Camané and Jorge Palma are the strong names of the musical lineup for the 6th Mostra Silves Capital da Laranja, which will take place on the 18th, 19th and 20th of February at Fissul, with the aim of promoting citrus farming and regional products from the Algarve.
On Friday, the 18th, at 21 pm, the fado singer Camané takes the stage. The next day, Saturday, at the same time, it will be Jorge Palma's turn to put on a show on the fair's stage. On Sunday, at 30:16 pm, visitors will be able to watch Brasa Doirada perform.
In addition to musical entertainment, the event will once again feature, as usual, the presence of orange producers and companies linked to the agricultural sector, as well as gastronomy, handicrafts and regional products, namely wines and sweets.
Other points of interest at the Mostra Silves Capital da Laranja are the Laranja XXI Conference, «where experts will debate central themes for citrus production and producers», the “Regional Silves Cocktails Contest 2022”, in the After Dinner and Flairbartending modalities, the puppet show “As Laranjas doce do Jesuíta” and the Marcha dos Namorados, “sports activity that integrates the march-race calendar in the Algarve”.
