Ferrari stolen in Spain was found next to Vilamoura Marina

Vehicle belonged to a car rental company

A Ferrari, which had been stolen in Spain, was found driving in Quarteira and was eventually recovered last Saturday, January 15, by the GNR, near the Vilamoura Marina. 

According to the GNR, the military located the vehicle shortly after the alert was given.

Parked next to Vilamoura Marina, the Ferrari had no occupants inside.

“The vehicle was seized and returned to the legitimate owner, a car rental company, and it was not possible to locate the suspects, who moved to an uncertain part”, say the authorities.

The action had the collaboration of the Vilamoura Territorial Post, the Loulé Criminal Investigation Nucleus (NIC) and the Technical Support Nucleus (NAT) of the Territorial Command of Faro.

The facts were referred to the Judicial Court of Loulé.
