Farense beat Mafra by 0-2 in the trip they made to this county this Sunday to play in a match counting for the 13th round of the II League

The team of Faro entered the field as 16th place in the II League, below the waterline, and pressured to score points. Mafra, on the other hand, was 7th and had the opportunity to jump to the promotion places, in case of victory.

And the game soon fell to Farense, who took the lead in the 12th minute.

Elves Baldé crossed from the left and Fabrício Isidoro beat the home defenders to put the ball in the back of the net.

The Algarve were better at the game and dominated. And it was natural that the second goal came, in the 42nd minute, scored by striker Pedro Henrique, served by Elves Baldé.

Until then, Mafra had not yet shot on goal, which they only managed to do, for the first time, in added time in the first half.

Returning from the changing rooms, Mafra showed that they wanted to discuss the result and managed to create several chances of danger, having even hit the post with a ball.

But the minutes passed and the game was even over without the 0-2 changing, despite the efforts of the home team. Suffice it to say that, in the end, Mafra had 14 shots, 13 of which in the second half of the game.

With this victory, Farense now has 13 points and rises to 14th place in the II League, when 13 rounds have been played. In other words, it is, for the first time this season, out of the relegation places.
