The fireworks that were scheduled for New Year's Eve, in Quarteira, have been cancelled, announced the Loulé Council.
This decision follows "the measures announced by the Government for the next few days, with a view to controlling the Covid-19 pandemic", including the ban on gathering more than 10 people and the consumption of alcoholic beverages in the public road in the New Year.
