Among the 12 entities, Águas do Algarve received the distinction in the categories of “Quality of public water supply service (among entities)” and “Quality for the efficient use of water”, referring to the year 2020.

Also in relation to last year, for the category “Exemplary quality of water for human consumption”, the Municipalities of Lagos, Monchique and São Brás de Alportel were recognized, as well as the companies Infralobo, Infraquinta and Taviraverde.

As for the 2021 edition of the awards, the company Infraquinta received the distinction for “Quality of public water supply service (to the consumer)”.

As for the category “Exemplary quality of water for human consumption”, the entities recognized were Águas de Vila Real de Santo António, Municipal Councils of Albufeira, Aljezur, Monchique, Lagos, São Brás de Alportel and Silves, as well as EMARP de Portimão, Taviraverde and Infralobo.

This ERSAR initiative has the participation of a «large jury representing the sector» and aims to «distinguish the management entities that stood out for their good performance, attributing to them the Service Quality Seal in different categories in the water aspect».

The awards and stamps are an ERSAR initiative, organized in partnership with the newspaper “Água & Ambiente”.
