The musical group Dell'Acqua and the Ideias do Levante Choir will be the protagonists of a Christmas concert scheduled for December 12th, at 17 pm, at the Church of Nossa Senhora da Luz, in Lagoa.
The event is promoted by Ideias do Levante – Associação Cultural de Lagoa, in partnership with the Câmara de Lagoa, with the objective of «promoting the artistic work alluding to the Christmas season, as well as the religious/architectural heritage of the Municipality of Lagoa, through fundraising for the restoration work of the Church of Nossa Senhora da Luz (Lagoa)».
On stage will be the soprano Carla Pontes, accompanied by Grace Borgan (flute) and Cristiana Silva (Piano), the three elements of Dell'Acqua, as well as the Choir Ideias do Levante, directed by conductor Maria Saramago.
This concert will feature works by William Kirkpatrick, James Murray, Carl Mueller, Franz Gruber, among others.
