Cristóvão Norte, newly elected chairman of the District Political Commission of Faro of the PSD, the deputy and representative of the Municipal Assembly of Faro, is the District Representative of Paulo Rangel, in the race for the national leadership of the Social Democrats.
On the other hand, Cláudio Lima, vice president of the PSD Loulé, is the regional campaign director for the candidacy.
Support for Paulo Rangel, by these and other PSD figures in the Algarve, was expressed in a “Meeting with militants” in Faro.

Elections for the PSD presidency, which pit current leader Rui Rio against MEP Paulo Rangel, will take place on 27 November, while the Congress will take place between 17 and 19 December.
