The Government has just announced, at the end of the Council of Ministers, the approval of a fuel discount of ten cents per liter, up to a maximum of 50 liters per month.
In other words, the maximum amount to be allocated to each consumer is five euros per month.
The discount will start on November 10th, but only for registered users. IVAucher platform. Those who have not yet registered can do so from November 1st, even to associate their bank card to the register, the assistant secretary of state and tax affairs has just announced, at the press conference after the Council of Ministers .
As of November 10, drivers who are going to fill their car at a gas station will already be able to benefit from the incentive. To do this, they just need to be registered on the platform. IVAutcher and pay with a bank card issued by one of the financial institutions adhering to this program.
But companies that operate fuel sales points will also have to be themselves registered with IVAucher, as well as linking their Automatic Payment Terminals (TPA).
The Secretary of State added that the discount will be refunded within two working days after payment at the pump, to the bank account associated with the consumer's bank card that served to make the payment.
António Mendonça Mendes also explained that, if the discount of 10 cents per 50 liters is not used, that is, five euros, in a month, it will accumulate with the value of the following month.
