Centro Ciência Viva do Algarve is undergoing conservation works

Within the scope of these works, the exhibition of the Ciência Viva Center is closed

The building of the Centro Ciência Viva do Algarve, in Faro, is, since last October 6th, being the target of conservation works. 

According to the Chamber of Faro, “various repair and conservation works are being carried out, namely in the building's window frames”.

The contract also includes work on the shipyard, roofs, exterior carpentry, outbuildings and spans.

Within the scope of these works, the exhibition of the Ciência Viva Center is closed. However, the Center's team remains active and carrying out the usual outdoor activities.

The intervention, awarded by the Municipality to the company Glorious Detail, Lda. for around 68 thousand euros, has a period of execution of 90 days.
