Synopsis of "While the Moon Changes":

“The Moon commands Camila's days. Aurora is a dreamer. Francisca does not look for a means to an end. Daisy has a feeling that something serious is about to happen.

While the Moon Changes tells us the stories of four women, at different times, inevitably linked by a deep secret.

When Camila, the young and enthusiastic midwife, has to move to Africa with her husband, a series of events unfolds that will lead her to unclear choices — and that will forever link her to Aurora, Francisca and Margarida .

For many years, the truth remains hidden, until the young surgical intern, Margarida, is faced with an unexpected challenge in her path. To overcome this obstacle, it will be necessary to unearth deep secrets. And to realize that everything he believed was, after all, a lie.

While the Moon changes, it presents us the path of these women, in alternating voices, through emotions that are linked in a subtle and delicate way, mixed by a deep secret. There are four women who challenge each other and overcome society's prejudices and stigmas, showing their strength and defending their convictions.

This is a book about the harshness of principles and the unpredictability of ends, about being born and dying and the weight that comes with it, so much so that it often makes us forget what happens in between: life.

Is it worth doing everything for a child?"
