A multimedia exhibition, a show inspired by Fernando Pessoa and a concert will bring to life the Chapel of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe and the Fortress of Sagres, in Vila do Bispo, on Saturday and Sunday, the 17th and 18th.
These two monuments will stage three shows included in the program of DiVaM – Dynamization and Valorization of Monuments in the Algarve, the cultural program of the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve (DRCAlg).
The Chapel of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe will host, from 17:00 on the 17th until the 30th of July, the multimedia exhibition “Urban Sketchers draw the Monuments of the Algarve”.
«This exhibition presents some of the works resulting from a challenge launched by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve to Urban Sketchers of the Algarve, to draw, ,, the Fortress of Sagres, the Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Roman Ruins of Milreu, as well as other monuments in the region», according to DRCAlg.
The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm and from 14:00 pm to 18:00 pm.
Also on Saturday, in the same monument, the show “The monologue of disquiet… and other reliefs” will be presented, promoted by Artis XXI – Association for Artistic Education of Lagoa – AEAL.

The show features the participation of Francisca Marinheira (actress), Rui Freitas (vibraphone) and Filipe Valentim (saxophone).

On Sunday, July 18, at 18 pm, the Auditorium of the Fortaleza de Sagres hosts the show “Faces do Acordeão”, a project promoted by Associação GarveFole, under the artistic direction of Nelson Conceição.
This is a show created around the accordion and with the participation of several young laureates.
It consists of a «new musical approach to immortal themes, by composers such as Piazolla, Rossini and Mozart, including the exploration of Algarve authors, where the accordion predominates, combined with the sound aesthetics of other instruments».

The 8th edition of this cultural program by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve has the theme “Heritage, Community and Inclusion”.
