Infraquinta launches InfraQidz environmental education project at Almancil school

New project fits into Loulé's Municipal Climate Change Adaptation Strategy

Infraquinta promoted the official launch of its new environmental education project, InfraQidz, at the EB Cónego Dr. Clementino de Brito Pinto school, in Almancil, to mark World Children's Day, on June 1st.

During the morning, an environmental education action took place at the school, divided into two moments. Each 1st and 2nd year student was given an InfraQidz activity notebook, to be carried out in the classroom, while on the school's playground, a giant board game was played with the 3rd and 4th year classes.

In this game, the knowledge of the youngsters about the themes of water, waste, energy and the environment was put to the test, and the board game in miniature version was offered to everyone at the end.

This new environmental education project, framed in the Loulé's Municipal Climate Change Adaptation Strategy, «has the objective of approaching, in a playful and pedagogical way, the sustainability of the planet and encourage a change in the behavior of the youngest, in the search for a more sustainable and differentiating lifestyle».
