Public lighting at the Baleeira fishing port will be improved

The rehabilitation of the south wharf bridge of the fishing port of Baleeira is also open for tender.

Docapesca launched a tender to benefit the public lighting towers in the fishing port of Baleeira (Sagres).

This work, according to the company that is in charge of operating fishing ports and auctions, "aimed at improving energy efficiency through the installation of LED lighting and strengthening the safety conditions of people and goods."

In a note sent to the newsrooms, Docapesca recalls that it is also taking place the public tender for the rehabilitation of the south wharf bridge of the fishing port of Baleeira, with a base price of around 1 million euros.

"The intervention in this infrastructure, built about 40 years ago, includes the full replacement of the superstructure (tray) and the rehabilitation of the pipes, as well as the equipping with all the equipment essential for the operationality and safety of fishing professionals and vessels", he concludes the company.
