Rosa Palma will once again be the candidate of the Unitarian Democratic Coalition – CDU for the Chamber of Silves, the political force announced this Wednesday in a note sent to the newsrooms.
The heads of list were also announced to the Municipal Assembly of Silves (Débora Quaresma) and the parish assemblies of Silves (Tito Coelho), São Bartolomeu de Messines (Carla Benedito), Alcantarilha – Pêra (Raul Santos), Algoz – Tunes (Dário Serious), Armação de Pêra (Alice dos Santos) and São Marcos da Serra (Luís Rafael).
The CDU emphasizes that the municipality, «as well as the parishes of Silves and S. Bartolomeu de Messines, have felt in recent years the work, honesty and competence that CDU puts in the performance of municipal functions».

Mário Godinho, will be the representative of the CDU candidacy in this municipality. At the age of 68, Mário Godinho dedicated 35 years to the council's local life, 28 of which as president of the Parish Council of Silves and seven years as vice-president of the Municipality of Silves, a position he held until the end of 2020.

Tito dos Santos Coelho he is 59 years old, he was born in Silves. He worked on his own as a cabinetmaker and later joined the staff of the Municipality of Silves. He has practiced athletics since he was very young and has been, since 1995, a Gymnastics Technician at Grupo Desportivo e Cultural do Enxerim. He is president of the Parish Council of Silves elected by the CDU since 2013.
Parish Council of São Bartolomeu de Messines:
Carla Benedict, 46 years old, was born in Mozambique, is an operational assistant. She was a cultural animator at an IPSS, was a member of the Parents' Association. She worked for 23 years at the Casa do Povo in São Bartolomeu de Messines, as an animator, at the Free Time Activities Center. She was elected by the CDU at the Parish Assembly of São Bartolomeu de Messines, and has been president of the Parish Council since 2019.
Council of the Union of Parishes Alcantarilha – Pêra:
Raul Carlos Santos he is 61 years old, was born in Alcantarilha, and is a CTT employee. He was an associative leader in several directions of the Alcantarilhense Recreative Society and a volunteer firefighter. Current treasurer of the Union of Parishes of Alcantarilha and Pêra, elected in the 2017/2021 term by the CDU.
