The Municipal Archive of Tavira created an interactive game to spread and reveal facts and important characters of local history.
In a note sent to the newsrooms, the Câmara de Tavira explains that this "hobby, which goes back 500 years in time, is intended, above all, for school-age children, although anyone with interest can try it."
With the teachers in mind, the Municipal Archive provides some activity files that can be worked on in classes. Documents include references to the document sources used and referenced.
«For 1st Cycle students, teachers can rely on the “Sopa de Letras – Descobrir Tavira”, with two levels: an easier one and a more difficult one. Teachers of students from the 2nd cycle up to secondary school can find the “Crosswords – Descobrir Tavira” in two different files: one without the solutions and the other with the solutions», adds the Tavirense municipality.
