A new Covid-19 Mobile Tracking Center, in system drive thru and intended for the entire population, it has already started to work em Faro, NAvenida Cidade de Hayward, the artery that connects the roundabouts of the Hospital and the Penha Sports Complex, at the exit from Faro to Olhão.
In this structure, created within the scope of a partnership between Synlab, the Hospital de Loulé and the Câmara de Faro, "it is possible to carry out PCR diagnostic tests [swab] to COVID-19 in an agile, comfortable and safe way, without the need to leave the car", according to Synlab.
The center will be open from 10:00 am to 17:00 pm, on weekdays, and from 9:00 am to 13:00 pm, on Saturdays, and “is intended for the general population, as well as for users with a prescription from the National Health Service (Line SNS24, Health Centers) ».
Booking in advance is mandatory and can be done by calling 289 249 745 or via email [email protected], on weekdays, from 10:00 am to 17:00 pm.
“COVID-19 PCR tests are performed with a swab and do not require fasting or special preparation. The results are sent to the user and to the public health authorities within a period of 24 to 48 hours”, added the group specialized in laboratory analyses.
