Rosa Nunes is chosen by the PS to try to "steal" Câmara de Castro Marim from the PSD

Rosa Nunes is the PS candidate for the Council of Castro Marim in elections next year. The decision was taken unanimously last Sunday, October 11, in a plenary of the Socialists. 

The candidate presented, in this plenary session, the reasons that lead her to run for the Castromarinense autarchy, which is led by Francisco Amaral (PSD).

"I am aware of what this council needs: an honest and, above all, true policy that allows us to regain confidence, hope, the economy and, above all, improve the quality of life of these people that I care for so much," he said.

Rosa Nunes said she will work “hard for the economic development of Castro Marim, with the objective of attracting population to the coast and interior of the county, lowering the IMI and creating conditions and varied incentives to settle the population, countering the desertification that has been detected in recent years'.

«Taking advantage of the county's vast cultural heritage and all its seafront for the development of tourist routes, making this county a reference destination», is also one of the flags ofthe candidate.

Rosa Nunes is 54 years old, has a degree in Civil Engineering, married with two children. She worked as a technician at the Municipality of Castro Marim and was president of the Center for Culture and Sports of the Staff of the Municipality of Castro Marim.

Performed functions in the Municipality of Tavira, as a technician and senior technician, with full responsibility for licensing and monitoring of allotments in the county. She was a councilor at the Castro Marim City Council between 2005 and 2009.

He also held functions as head of the Planning and Urban Management Division in the Municipality of Tavira and as head of the Urban Management and Private Works Division.

Rosa Nunes was also a senior technician at the Institute for the Conservation of Nature and Forests, in the Algarve, currently exercising functions in this entity, as head of the Classified Areas and Co-Management of Protected Areas Division.
