The women's team Padel Friends Team, from the Algarve, won the National Padel Series, in the first year this competition became international, and before it was only disputed in Spain.
The initiative had more than 60 thousand athletes who formed teams and competed in the biggest amateur paddle competition in the world, in different categories.
In total, eight Portuguese teams qualified, but only two played: one Women's 500 from Algarve and the other Men's 500 from Coimbra.
The Algarve team even won the title of champions of the International Masters of the National Padel Series and made history, being the first team to win this competition, in the first year it became international, and the first Portuguese team to win this title.
