A 27-year-old young man died this Friday, September 25, in a motorbike crash, on Estrada Nacional 267, in Monchique, near Casais.
The alert was given at 8:28 pm.
Ao Sul Informação, a source from the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) of Monchique said that "death was declared on the spot" and that the man "will have fallen into a ravine."
There were 12 operatives at the site, supported by six vehicles, from the Monchique, GNR and INEM Fire Departments.
